I was recommended to Tracy and her mom, Debbie, by one of my fabulaous florists in New Orleans, Ashley at NOLA Flora. When I first spoke with Debbie and Tracy, they expressed that they needed help locating a few more vendors and wanted to make sure they had a carefree wedding day, so they hired Simply Jubilee Events. It was a great experience working with Tracy and Debbie fine tuning the details. Tracy had a vision and knew exactly what she wanted. It was amazing.

On Friday, we met with Kristie at Chateau Bourbon Hotel to deliver the linens and do a final walk through of the room setup and discuss the flow of the evening. The staff was so professional and helpful. After a day of errands, we delivered the tuxedos to the groom’s suite, coordinated a smooth rehearsal, assisted with the Welcome Party held at the Chateau Bourbon Hotel and made sure everything was setup properly for the rehearsal dinner at Broussard’s.

On February 7th, the staff at Chateau Bourbon Hotel had dressed the tables with the white linens and the chairs with fitted chair covers and silver swirl organza sashes from The Linen House. As Tracy and Martin prepared for the big day in their respective suites, we set the guest book table with photos the wedding couple selected, delivered the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and nosegays and assisted NOLA Flora with placement of the centerpieces, candles, petals and cake decor. Simply Elegant.

The ceremony at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church was beautiful and included the traditional unity candle ceremony symbolizing the two families coming together. Since Martin is in the military, the ceremony ended with Tracy and Martin walking through the sword arch and the soldiers properly saluting the bride.

Tracy, Martin and  the wedding party were taken by carriage to the reception where Fleur de Lis Band was ready and waiting to announce them and the newly married couple. The Commander and Mrs. walked into their first dance which was followed by a loving dance between Tracy and her father. The buffet was opened, the cake was cut and the guests raised their glasses to the brideandgroom. Tracy and Martin took a moment to thank their guests for sharing  this day with them and how much each of them have touched their lives.

We packed the gifts and all of the personal items and sent them to brideand groom’s suite along with a nice care package prepared by the staff at Chateau Bourbon Hotel of an assortment of items from their buffet and slices of the cakes. To close the evening on a high note, Tracy and Martin led a second line parade of their guests and Fleur de Lis band members from the ballroom to the fro of the hotel where a carriage was waiting to whisk them away for a stroll through the French Quarter.

I should have more pictures soon so stay tuned…
